Julie appreciates the power of well-chosen words. She has created dozens of publications and presentations for both public and professional audiences. She believes that (1) nearly any subject can be translated into public-friendly language, and (2) professional/business writing can be as artful as a novel.

“Julie takes very complex concepts and makes them understandable to the general public, not by talking down to people, but rather by writing in a clear and concise manner,” says Perry Bryant of West Virginians for Affordable Health Care. “She does not try to change your ideas to fit her framework, but offers constructive suggestions on crafting your messages and positions.”

Julie’s writing projects include reports, discussion guides, brochures, Internet writing, video scripts, and presentations. She works with graphic and web designers to create visually compelling products that attract readers.
